Heat a large non-stick frypan over medium-high heat. Add onion and cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes until caramelised and tender. Transfer to a plate.
Meanwhile, combine beef and herbs. Form into patties and season with salt and pepper. Cook one side for 3-4 minutes. Flip and top with cheese. Cook for a further 3 minutes until patties are cooked and cheese has melted. Remove from heat.
To assemble burgers, place lettuce and tomato on the base of each bun. Top with patties, onions, sriracha and other half of the bun to serve.
